"Attended Richard Charon’s ½ day inhalation sedation update for experienced users today.
Two things I notice on courses:
a) I am cursed with a limited attention span and get very bored very fast.
b) When I get bored I become very aware of the chair I am sitting on. I notice the lack of lumber and thigh support, the lack of cushioning, the poor height and less than perfect angle between the seat and the back rest.
Today is the first time I can recall when I was totally unaware of the chair upon which I was continuously seated for five hours. Many thanks to Richard and Chris for such a relevant, up to date and well delivered course."

Scores of 5 ( Excellent/ Yes) = 63%
Scores of 4 (V. Good/V.likely)= 31.2%
Scores of 3 (Good/Likely) = 5.2%
So it is fair to say that 95% of the scores were either Excellent/Yes or Very Good/v.Likely. Always room for some improvement then

Via e-mail later:
"Thank you for today's course. Perfect for what I needed! Really was very useful to have some other peoples insights into the new guidelines, and always useful to have a refresher on a subject."
As a result of this feedback and reflecting on my decision to run these as 1/2 days, there is potentially so much to discuss, for example but not only, individual case discussions which we ran out of time for yesterday, that I will in future make these sessions a full day of learning.
Our next day is planned for Glasgow on June 20th. These updates are for dental team members already using Inhalation Sedation.
Please e-mail me now richard@the-ra-coach.co.uk to book places. PLease remember that dental nurses assisting even if they do not have a certificate in Dental Sedation Nursing MUST now undertake 12 hrs vCPD every 5 years.
