Our next planned 3-day course in
Inhalation Sedation
devised and delivered by
Dr. Richard Charon BDS
This is the UK's premiere course in Inhalation Sedation now in it's 13th year, updated and IACSD accredited in Dec. 2015.
It has the equivalence of a university-based module in the subject but with a much wider knowledge-base from first-hand experience relating to general practice including 23 years in Private practice.
Days 2 & 3 by arrangement with individual candidates at their own practices to undertake the IACSD gold-standard, accredited, Work-Based Assessment (WBA).
The WBA is a structured, mentored program of 10 cases undertaken under supervision with Dr. Charon who brings 37 years of clinical experience and 13 years of teaching and mentoring experience to this learning opportunity.
Who is the course suitable for?
Dental professionals new to Inhalation Sedation
UK and Non-UK candidates.
GDPs, including Endodontists and surgical Periodontists in particular and Therapist/hygienists.
Dental nurses accompanying their dentists to enable them to assist during the 2-day WBA program and beyond as "appropriately trained".
This day will provide 7.5 hours of vCPD but in the case of dental nurses this is not equivalent to the NEBDN sedation certificate.
